El departamento psicológico es dirijido por una voluntaria española, Angela Huergo, quien ha estado trabajando para Pan y Amor por casi cuatro años. Ella trabaja tres a cuatro mañanas por semana en el colegio, cooperando con las trabajadoras sociales aligual que ayudando a las profesoras a mejorar sus abilidades de enseñanza.
En el año 2009 Alvaro Otero Sáenz, el jóven psicólogo que trabajó como director en el Hogar los últimos cinco años, estará apoyando a Angela. Juntos trabajaran en programas para ayudarle a los niños en el colegio. Alvaro seguirá involucrado con los muchachos del Hogar, ofreciéndoles un apoyo adicional en los fines de semana que pasan en el Hogar.

She works three to four mornings a week at the school, cooperating with the social workers as well as helping the teachers to plan and improve their teaching skills.
In 2009, Alvaro Otero Sáenz, the young psychologist who worked as Director for the welfare protection home the last five years, will be joining Angela. Together they will be working on programs to help the children at school. He will still remain involved wih the boy’s from the boarding home, offering them extra support over the weekends they spend at the boarding school.
